Terms of Service

Last updated Oct 13, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you (the business signing up) and Marc Stevens, operator of server-track-lab, Ontario, Canada. By creating a workspace or using the API you agree to them.

1. The service

server-track-lab accepts conversion events from your server via API and forwards them to the ad platforms you configure (currently Meta Conversions API; others planned). We may change or improve features over time.

2. Pricing

3. Your account

Keep your API keys secret; you're responsible for activity using them. Rotate a key from the dashboard if it leaks. One workspace per email.

4. Your data and consent

You own your data. You are responsible for having the legal right, notices, and any consent required to send your end users' data to us and to the ad platforms you choose. We process it as described in our Privacy Policy. You must also comply with the terms of each ad platform you forward to.

5. Acceptable use

Don't: send data you have no right to send; send sensitive categories of data (e.g. health, financial account numbers, government IDs, children's data); use the service for spam, fraud, or illegal activity; attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service; resell it without permission; or exceed rate limits deliberately.

6. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your workspace at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, are unpaid, or put the service or others at risk, with notice where reasonable. Prepaid usage is non-refundable except where required by law.

7. No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee uninterrupted delivery, specific match rates, or ad performance, and we aren't responsible for ad platform outages or policy changes.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or CA$100.

9. Indemnity

You'll defend and indemnify us against claims arising from data you send without proper rights or consent, or from your breach of these terms.

10. Changes and law

We may update these terms; we'll change the date above and email account holders about material changes. Continued use means acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, and the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction.
